"THE WAVE" - NIKE AIR MAX ONE
1987, a great year for entertainment and culture. "The Predator" hit the box office, The Simpsons made it's first debut on television, Michael Jackson released "Bad" and Nike released its primary Air Max sneaker, the Air Max One.
From then onward, Air Max has been the gift that keeps on giving, the innovation led to a sneaker series that’s still going strong nearly 40 years later.
To commemorate the trainer that started it all, a silhouette that needs no introduction, we imagined a film where highlights reveals its renowned form. The prominence of the shadows casts a subtle nod to how acclaimed the silhouette of the Air Max One is.
